J-Plasma TiteLyft
What is the J-Plasma TiteLyft?
The TiteLyft is a revolutionary treatment in which extra tissue and loose skin can be removed and tightened without cutting the skin. This procedure can be used on the lower face, neck, underarms, thighs, abdomen, and virtually any other area with loose skin. The TiteLyft involves an initial liposculpture procedure in which extra adipose (fat) tissue is removed with tiny cannulas. Then, the J-Plasma device is utilized to sculpt and tighten the skin.
How Does Subdermal Ablation Work?
J-Plasma uses helium gas as a source of plasma energy and directs the energy selectively to ablate (remove) tissue through insertion of a probe under the skin. Unlike laser and radiofrequency (RF) devices that have been used for similar purposes, the helium plasma that is generated is extraordinarily selective in the amount of tissue that is removed with each pass of the probe. This means that the chance of damage to surrounding tissue is smaller, resulting in potentially less downtime and fewer complications.
Is This Procedure Uncomfortable?
The entire procedure is performed under tumescent local anesthesia. Patients are awake and comfortable during the entire procedure. Patients report that the treated areas feel “tight” for several weeks after the procedure.
What’s the Downtime?
There are only a few tiny incisions in which the cannulas and probes are inserted. Patients are generally very comfortable during and after the procedure. There may be some soreness and a “tight” sensation for several weeks. Patients are encouraged to move around and stay active. Patients can return to normal activities after just a few days. Garments and bandages should be worn for 1-2 weeks.
The most commonly treated areas are:
• Lower Face
• Neck
• Underarms
• Abdomen
How many treatments should I have and how often is it recommended?
Most clients will only require one treatment. After the treatment, the area will continue to improve for up to one year. Occasionally, patients may require a second treatment to further improve the appearance.

Who is the ideal candidate for the TiteLyft?
Individuals previously considering a lower face lift, neck lift, arm lift (brachioplasty), tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), and thigh lift are potential candidates for the TiteLyft. Anyone with excess tissue and loose skin in any area should consider the TiteLyft.
Is there anything else I should know?
This treatment is unlike any other procedure before and could be the best alternative to the surgical removal of excess skin. The combination of lower cost, less downtime, increased safety, and better side effect profile make TiteLyft an excellent choice.
